Since its inception (1985), The CompanY’s costumes have been designed and executed by their dear friend, Danilo Franco.
Danilo Franco is recognized as one of the stalwarts in Manila's fashion scene. Any aspiring young designer cannot claim to have learned the trade unless he has studied closely the soft, flowing lines of Danilo's exquisite gowns and the precise workmanship of his suits. Indeed, Danilo's creations have set a standard in the industry.
A University of Santo Tomas graduate of Fine Arts, major in Advertsiing, Danilo started out as art director and illustrator for various publications. Danilo's creativity is boundless. For many years, his designs were standouts in television shows. Aside from his expertise in beadwork, there is also his special gift for painting, and his artistry has found full expression in haute couture.
Of late, Danilo has also ventured into costume design for musical theater, with his most recent work "Drakula" earning rave reviews.
