Cecile Bautista

Cecile began to flourish her musical talents when she was still young. She took piano lesson from prep to grade 7 and a glee club member since grade school and participated in solo/group singing contests thus, winning a 2nd prize NAMCYA- children’s choir.


She also joined the Ateneo college glee club (Jesuit university) – since freshman year, 2 years in UP college of music, and UP Madrigal Singers.

Joining The CompanY in 1990, Cecile’s alternative roles in the group are occasional rehearsal master, scriptwriter, arranger and songwriter.

Every summer in the Philippines (April and May) , Cecile has been teaching a vocal performance workshop at the defunct UMPI (2006) and presently Trumpets Playshop (2007 to present:2012). The highly successful workshop entitled “Starpower” caters to the children, teens, young adults and adults markets.

In 2012, Cecile Bautista together with his singing partners in The CompanY have become part of the music faculty of the Asian Academy for Television Arts.
